Santa Margherita Ligure | Light on the Riviera
It is easy to see why artists are drawn here.
The way the light lingers on facades,
how colour peppers every experience
and shadows draw my attention inward.
As I trace scattered sketches along the cascading shoreline,
the air is suddenly brushed with the scent of ease;
a gentle melody of pebbles dancing with receding aqua blue.
Moments blend into each other.
And I find myself absorbed in shifting light
as time
settles the
terracotta hue
and tempers the midday light.
